Ewha Fashion Street Seoul

The area around Ewha Womans University, Sinchon is often referred to as Ewha Womans University Fashion Street. The streets around the women’s university has become a shopping haven for women. There are a few big department stores and streets lined with all the latest fashions, shoe shops, nail / hair salons and more. The best part about Fashion Street is the price. Being located next to a Ewha Womans University means two things. 1. This area is full of shops all aimed at women. 2. Students don’t tend to be the richest of people and all the shops price accordingly. You can find cheap and reasonable priced shops, gifts, services and food. A visit to Fashion Street is recommended along with Yonsei University Museum and the free museum at Ewha Womans University Museum and Ewha Natural History Museum or you could watch a movie at Megabox Sinchon.

How to get to Ewha Women’s University Fashion Street:

Take line 2 to Ewha Station and leave exit 2 or 3 and head straight. You will already begin to notice all the shops. The main concentration of fashion shops is the street just outside Ewha Womans University. The location is marked on the map below.

Jongno Tower Building located near Jonggak station in Seoul is one of the most popular buildings in Korea because of it’s design and was completed in 1999. The building is owned by Samsung Securities and is a 33 floor office building with a shopping area in the basement called Millennium Plaza and a bar and restaurant on the top floor. The name of the restaurant is Top Cloud and it offers stunning views of the city. They have two sections, a buffet section and a restaurant. For the restaurant you need to make a reservation but for the buffet it is a first come, first served basis but get there early for a window seat.Visit Top Cloud to make a reservation.

There is also plenty to see around Jongo Tower such as Boningak Bell Tower, Cheonggyecheon River and the Berlin Wall Seoul.

How to get to Jongno Tower Seoul:

Take line 1 to Jonggak station and leave exit 3. The subway station is connected directly to Jongno Tower and Millennium Plaza.

Times Square is a huge Shopping, Business and Cultural complex located in Seoul, Korea. Times Square Seoul aims to be a modern trendy city within a city where people can visit and do everything in one area. Times Square has hundreds of shops to choose from and is very popular with young couples who go shopping or go on a date. There are over 20 major / high class brands located in Times Square and plenty of entertainment facilities. When building the complex a lot of green space and gardens were incorporated to give a feeling of tranquility while shopping right in the centre of busy Seoul.
