Money
Before you arrive it is best to get familiar with the currency of South Korea. The currency used in South Korea is called the Won. The South Korean Won consists of 4 Bank notes (1,000. 5,000. 10,000. and 50,000) and 6 coins (1, 5, 10, 50, 100, 500) although the 1 won and 5 won coin are hard to find in circulation today.
